In the overall package yarn dyeing and finishing process, drying is the core final step that determines yarn moisture content, colour evenness, and the final quality of the finished product.
Conventional hot‑air drying methods commonly suffer from long drying times, significant moisture differences between the inner and outer layers of the package yarn, yarn shrinkage and hardening, and high steam and electricity consumption – issues that have long been a major obstacle for many dyeing mills in their efforts to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
To address these industry‑wide pain points, we have developed and optimised the High‑Temperature High‑Pressure Rapid Dryer PED ECODYE. Utilising high‑pressure hot‑air penetration drying technology coupled with a fully automatic intelligent control system, it has now been widely adopted in dyeing workshops both domestically and internationally. Real‑world
production results from numerous customers confirm: drying efficiency is significantly improved, finished yarn quality remains stable and controllable, and operational costs are consistently reduced.

Precision sheet‑metal fabrication, high‑quality pressure‑resistant main cylinder, and a complete hot‑air circulation system are engineered for robustness, excellent sealing and insulation, and suitability for long‑term continuous operation in the workshop. Every machine undergoes multiple full‑system commissioning and pressure tests before delivery, eliminating operational failures and ensuring a longer service life.

Numerous dyeing companies have installed the equipment and are using it for routine high‑volume package yarn drying. After dyeing, the package yarns can be loaded directly onto the carriers and into the dryer without the need for rewinding. The fully enclosed pressurised drying environment keeps the workshop clean and dust‑free, streamlines material flow, and makes operation easy for workers.

2. Core Advantages – Directly Addressing Dyeing Mill Production Needs
Significant floor space savings: Traditional drying methods require long process flows and occupy substantial workshop space. The PED package yarn dryer requires only space for loading and unloading the yarn carriers.
High efficiency: Taking the 1000kg package yarn dryer as an example, 1000kg of 100% cotton package yarn can be dried from dewatering in just 90 minutes, whereas traditional dewatering and drying methods take 5 hours.
Low energy consumption: For the same 1000kg machine, drying 1000kg of cotton package yarn consumes only 300 kWh of electricity. Moreover, the heat and electrical energy used during drying are converted by the condenser into clean hot water at 55°C–75°C, which can be reused in the subsequent dyeing process. Traditional dewatering and drying machines require 500 kWh of electricity and large amounts of steam.
High quality: The Dongbao drying machine operates as a high‑pressure sealed recirculating dryer, so drying is unaffected by external dust, temperature, or humidity.
Significant labour savings
Sealed recirculating design: Because the PED high‑pressure package yarn dryer is a sealed recirculating system, the temperature decreases as drying progresses. High‑temperature air contacts the yarn only when the yarn is very wet, and the evaporation of moisture from the yarn cools it. This process protects and preserves the original physical properties of the yarn.
3. Reliable After‑Sales Support
We can customise the dryer capacity according to your daily production requirements. From initial workshop layout planning, equipment manufacturing and delivery, to on‑site installation, commissioning, operator training, and after‑sales maintenance – we provide one‑stop end‑to‑end service, ensuring complete peace of mind.
