At 9:00 a.m., the launch conference began in the company canteen. The general manager of DONPRO emphasized in his speech that 5S management is not only an important tool for workshop improvement but also a solid cornerstone for cultivating a lean culture and promoting sustainable development. The conference also specially invited Mr. Shen to conduct on-site training, conveying the 5S concept to employees in an easy-to-understand manner through lively and interesting interactive games.
The conference elaborated on the core essence of 5S management: optimizing workflows through "Seiri (Sort)" and "Seiton (Set in order)", standardizing processes through "Seiso (Shine)" and "Seiketsu (Standardize)", and ultimately improving employee "Shitsuke (Sustain)", transforming "form" into "habit".
Led by Mr. Shen, all employees took a solemn oath, demonstrating their firm determination and high morale to fully implement 5S management. After the launch ceremony, the company also showcased the preliminary 5S transformation results in some workshops and factory areas, laying a solid foundation for further deepening lean production.
